Among the goals of this committee are to increase efficiency of analyses and create an expert community to aid in solving problems faced by less experienced ISGC members.
Chair / Co-Chairs: Rainer Malik, Matthew Traylor, Chris Anderson
The analysis working group within the ISGC is a freely formed group of multiple individuals interested in the more analytical aspects of stroke genetics. In contrast to the more phenotypically oriented working groups, the analysis group deals with the handling of the data, QC, basic analysis (GWAS, sequencing data) and advanced analysis (functional follow-up, MR, PheWAS, multi-omics). As there is no regular call within the group, alternative communication forms (RocketChat) are used to share interesting methods or manuscripts and to freely communicate about analytical problems. For distinct projects within the ISGC, the analysis group will help and formulate or review analysis plans.
