The inaugural ISGC Virtual Mini-Workshop which will take place on June 16, 2020 from 9-10:30 PM (GMT). This will be the first of a series of monthly ISGC mini-workshops. The title of the workshop is: “The Power of the Transcriptome at Single-Cell Resolution,” and will be held live via Zoom. Guest speakers will include Prof Philip De Jager, Weil-Granat Professor of Neurology at Columbia University (“Cell subtypes of the CNS parenchyma: Identifying cellular communities and their relation to pathology”), and Prof Hemali Phatnani, Director of the Center for Genomics of Neurodegenerative Disease at the New York Genome Center (“Spatiotemproal dynamics of molecular pathology in ALS”).
We will have a data blitz session to provide opportunity for ISGC members to present data on either single-cell transcriptomic or spatial transcriptomic data. Please let us know if you would like to present your work at this meeting. We encourage the sharing of data, even if preliminary. More workshop details will follow.
